In Celina's Heels - Of flamenco, flares and royalty

“Never did the world make a queen of a girl who hides in houses and dreams without traveling.” ― Roman Payne, The Wanderess

Half a planet away is just about right as this post is all about Seville in Spain, where we spent a few days living in the past. People often tell us not to live in the past, and of course, that’s not what I’m saying you should do – but there’s really no harm going back in time and seeing what life was like, and how far we’ve come today. If anything, I’d say this gives us a better perspective of what lies ahead.. unless the good old days meant you were royalty – then we’d all just choose to live in the past, wouldn’t we?

And that’s just what the Alcázar of Seville is – the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe, and registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site! So we can’t all be living like the royals, but we sure can have a glimpse of it. Traveling makes that possible. So travel far and wide, explore every nook and corner of this world for as long as you can. Who knows, you might end up living a life so fulfilling that you’re way ahead of royalty!
