“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” ― Edith Sitwell
There’s just something so comforting about pulling on an oversized sweater, particularly if it’s extra chilly outside like it was on this day in Madrid. Now double that feeling if you’re in a hotel room that makes you feel like you’re very much at home. That’s just one way I can describe my experience at the NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa.
Packing as much of the history and culture of Madrid as possible, the NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa was designed by Juan de Villanueva, the Spanish architect who also designed the Prado Museum and the Plaza Mayor. Decorated by award winning Ramón Esteve, this charming little palacio is in the heart of the city’s literary district – a short stroll away from the main tourist sights.
Oh, and our rooms were nothing short of stylish – and so we couldn’t help but bring out the camera to show you what you can expect. The little balcony facing the streets of Madrid had me staring out at the people passing by, while the “NH Sleep Better” concept bed ensured I slept like a baby through the night.
Promising views of historic, authentic Madrid, including the Church of San Sebastián and Calle Atocha, the 5-star NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa will ensure you have a comfortable stay in Madrid without compromising on showing you what the “real” Madrid is all about!
P.S. Don’t forget your oversized sweater for a little extra warmth and comfort.
