If you’re reading this… Congratulations, you’re alive. If that’s not something to smile about, then I don’t know what is. ― Chad Sugg
While some of us are stressing about our jobs, the bills we need to pay, choosing the right life partner or something equally negligible, others are fighting simply to stay alive. Cancer. The word itself makes me wince. I can’t even begin to imagine what people go through trying to beat the damn thing. But here’s something you probably didn’t know. Statistics show that Breast Cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women, is actually 30% preventable, 30% curable and 40% treatable when detected early. Those are some pretty big numbers, right? So why ignore the symptoms? Not only this month, but throughout our lives, I urge each and every one of you to get your pink on and join me in the fight to look out for ourselves and women everywhere.
